Voice - Middle Level

  4. Hi Im Hailey L!

    I think An Afternoon In The Stacks is a good poem because its like reading a good book. When he talks about how he closes the book and his head is stuck in side he doesn't really mean his head is stuck in the book it means that his mind is still on that book. I liked this poem because this poem relates to me because once i finish reading a book i have my head stuck inside till i read it again.

    I Like Richard Cory because in the poem the people on the street look up to him. but at the end the poem i think he shot himself because everybody just thought he was rich and he didn't have any friends.
