Pat Mora's poem "Can I, Can I Catch The Wind" has lots of repetition including "can I, can I catch the wind". The repetition is mainly there because the author wanted to express the wind, and because he wanted to get the main point in the readers mind so they can picture it it in their minds.
Who has seen the wind is amazing, it shows that you can`t see the wind but you can hear it and see other things move with the wind. She uses the words thro` and nor to make it sound more interesting. she must love the wind just like i do.I like this poem cause she writes on how the wind is a peaceful thing. I love her repetition she uses two sentenses twice i like that.
The repetition in Calico Pie is about animals going away and not coming back. It makes me think about animals. The author Edward Lear repeated the lines because it made a pattern and sounded like a song. He reminds us that all the animals left him after he saw them.
I Wish I Knew, by beverly mcloughland she was saying she does not know how the winter thinks of all of the snow flakes. She used repetition twice. Repetition means they used the words over and over again.
Can I,Can I Catch the Wind. Repetition means to repeat the line and makes patterns. The author is by Pat Mora. He liked repetition so he made a repeating poem and used patterns. The poem is about a boy trying to catch the wind and he repeats that he cannot catch the wind.
I Wish I Knew I think the poet wanted to stress the effect of the mystreies of winter. because in the poem it said each snowflacke is new and I Wish I Knew the of your mind secret of your mind.SO it's telling me it's a mysteries
Calico Pie I think the poet's purpose was to make you have a picture in head when it says And they never come bake to me! They never come back! They never come back! They never come back to me! It brings an image in my head and I see birds flying away.
I think Christina Rossetti was kind of saying that no one has ever seen the wind, but you can feel it passing by. By repeating the lines, the reader is reminded that the wind is everywhere although it is invisible, but You can see the wind push leaves.
I Wish I Knew is the poem I read today. It made me curious to read more of her poems. It also made me think about snow. I think the poet's purpose is to wonder about snow, particularly how shows snowflakes are made and how they are all different. She is talking to Winter, so she repeats the question to Winter to point out all her questions. The poet is trying to get the words in the reader's head; its like she's trying to rip the words off the paper and put it in our heads.
Hi my name is Rylan H. Calico Pie is a great example of a repitition poem. I think that Edward Lear used repetition to give readers a better picture of the animals running away from him. The repetition sounds like a song. I think that Edward Lear wants to describe that it never came back.
Hi my name is Ivan the poem im talking about is Who Has Seen The Wind. This poem has repetition the meaning of this poem is to tell you that none can see the wind, but you can feel it. The trees will move and the leaves blow. The author is amazed that the wind is everywhere and it is invisible.
I would like to discuss Can I, Can I Catch the Wind. I like how it repeats can I, can I catch the wind then says something the says Catch the wind and then at the end it repeats. Wind , Wind run, and spin, dance and spin, run and spin.
