I thought that when E.E. cummings wrote about the grasshoper poem is reall cool but he mixed up some of the poems. and i sorda didn't under stand it at first. But then I started to get what he was saying.

I thought that Emily Dickinson wrote the poem about how she's saying that she's nobody I thought that was really sad but that what's happen's in life some times. And also how she passed away I thought that was really sad I thought that was the sadest but that what happens in life.

  7. Hi my name is Andy G

    E.E.Cummings poems are very creative
because he mixes up the words in his poem to make the reader think about the poem he made.

This is a very good poem it shows the readers to explore and think, "what dose he mean?" thats what he wants you to say! He wants to be different, HE DOSENT WANT TO BE THE SAME!!!!

he likes to be his own cause, most poets get inspired and do that subject but he wants people to find something NEW. they probaly find that they read alot of the same stuff. but in some parts its hard cause their like like.. i dont know how to describe it but in some parts it is hard! i hope Mr. Cummings makes more poems like that cause it is cool.

i think E.E. CUMMINGS IS AN AMAZING POET.

good bye, always read poems, all by marcie s

E.E.Cummings is a really good writer, when he wrote grasshopper he mixed it up because grasshoppers go all over the place, he had another one he did not follow the rules and he only had one peroid and two capitals. All his poems are really good!

the poemes by E.E.cummings are differant from the other poems that other people write.he writes his poems differant like he sometimes he writes them backwards he puts the punctuation in the middle of the sentence and capitals anywhere in the word and many more things.

  11. ee cummings poems are chaotic and scrambled. If you can see the message behind the punctuation it is very good. the shape of the poem takes the form of what it is about, which I think is really cool. I think he thought that the rules of poetry were like chains, so he wanted that freedom.

  12. I thought that E. E. Cummings poems were very fun to read and I also thought that his poems made more sense than any other poems that I have ever read. Emily Dickinson's poems didn't make much sense but I think that they meant a lot to her.

  13. I would like to discuss the Grasshopper poem by e.e. cummings. At first I could not decipher the poem. After a short time I figured out the title then small amounts of the poem. I almost completed deciphering the poem and began to understand where he was going with punctuation.

  14. I would like to discuss The Sky Was. The punctuation was the same to me. I didn't see the difference. But the format was different. The words were all over the place like clouds scattered around. It reminded me of chocolates and candy.

  15. We would like to discuss The Sky Was Candy Luminous. We thought it was about bright colourful skys just like bright colours of candys. The greens and chocolate are like trees in the background. The locomotive is spouting violets under the bright, colourful sky. The poems shaped like the bottom part is the locomotive and the top is the sky and trees.

  17. I would like to discuss the poem called Leaf. The poem was really confusing, but after I figured it out. I could understand the words of the poem but it all didn't really make sense. The poem was the one that made most sense, and was easiest to decipher.

  18. I would like to discuss grasshopper. I don’t like the way he writes it is very confusing. But I think his poems are interesting because he write them a different way than everyone else. The rhythm is very smooth.

  19. I'd like to comment on the leaf poem by e.e cummings.
Its too hard to understand. It teaches me by non-example, that I definitely prefer to read with punchuation and have writers use it properly.
It also teaches me the advantages of punucation.

  20. I would like to talk about the leaf poem that ee cummings wrote:
It's a puzle to figure out, but when you do... it's amazing!

    The grasshoper poem
that ee cummings wrote was great, it's amazing that his mind can think the of stuff like the grasshoper poem, it's design is for art and literature at the same time.

  21. Grasshopper.
It is nice, I like the poem.
I like how E.E cummings writes poems.
I like how I have to take some time to figure it out eventually I can understand E.E cummings poems. He writes them so neat. I like the way he wrote the title.
On the other hand, I can't understand Emily Dickinsons poems very well at all.

The peom "I'm nobody who are you" and she sounds very lonely Especially in this one.
She doesn't use as much dashes-- as i thought she would, like for example she only uses 1 dash.

  23. We would like to talk about r-p-o-p-h-e-s-s-a-g-r by E.E. Cummings. It's very confusing and we don't understand the last part. It's like a brain teaser. The part we can understand is interesting... somewhat, it sorta doesn't make sense though.

It makes us feel a sense of Loneliness. Wanting to be somebody that there not, and the pain of being somebody. There are more than one who feels like nobody and sometimes they feel like they don't belong. But sometimes it feels good to be nobody.

  25. The sky was candy luminous:
E.E Cummings peoms are fun to read, and very creative! We think this poem means the sky is filled with color and is like a big swarm of cotton candy, just as E.E Cummings metioned. The form of the poem "The Sky Was candy luminous" seems to be like a spout shooting out Fluffy cotton candy coluds!
